Supported Independent Living (SIL)
Supported Independent Living (SIL) is a type of NDIS-funded support that helps people with disability live as independently as possible while receiving day-to-day assistance with personal and household tasks
SIL is ideal for individuals who require regular support in a shared living arrangement or on their own, and typically includes help with:
Personal care (e.g. showering, dressing)
Meal preparation and household tasks
Medication management
Building everyday life skills
Support with routines and community access
Support is tailored to each person’s needs and goals, promoting independence, choice, and control in a safe and supportive environment.
