Short-Term Accommodation (STA) offers temporary, supportive housing for individuals who need a break from their usual living arrangements. It provides a safe and comfortable environment with personalised support tailored to individual needs.
STA is ideal for:
Giving carers a short break (respite)
Supporting individuals during transitions or emergencies
Encouraging independence and daily living skills
Promoting social interaction and community participation
Services typically include 24/7 support, personal care, meals, and recreational activities. Under the NDIS, STA funding covers accommodation, support staff, and activities for up to 14 days at a time.
